Soy Isoflavones are naturally occurring plant compounds that are particularly concentrated in soybeans.  The three major isoflavones found in soybeans are genistein, daidzein and glycitein. Soy isoflavones are sometimes called phytoestrogens due to their structural similarity to the human oestrogen beta-oestradiol. Soy isoflavones and their by-products, produced through bacterial fermentation in the digestive tract, can exert estrogenic or anti-estrogenic effects, depending on the tissue and type of receptor on which they are acting.  Soy has been used to treat certain symptoms of menopause (such as hot flashes) and to help prevent bone loss (osteoporosis), helps to maintain an already healthy blood pressure and healthy hormonal activity.

Benefits
Maintain already-healthy blood pressure - Researchers have found that the by-products of the soybean support blood pressure already within normal range and youthful cardiovascular function.
Healthy hormonal activity - Soy isoflavones and their by-products can exert estrogenic or anti-estrogenic effects. This can help support hormone balance and healthy cell division.
